What Happened in September and What’s Coming Up in October at Nordic ReTrend

We have some exciting updates to share!

September was full of positive changes and progress, and we can’t wait to fill you in on what’s ahead in October. But first, a quick recap on something remarkable: we recently discovered a popular Facebook group called Eesti Disaini Järelturg (Estonian Design Secondhand Market) with over 32,000 members! This group is filled with second-hand items from Estonian designers, and its creator, Siret, shared her story of how the group became a success. We wanted to share this story with our local audience, which is why our newsletter this month is in Estonian. Don’t worry, though – here’s the latest company update for all our international friends.

September Successes

• 17 New Pieces: In September, we collected 17 pieces that are either listed in our Pre-Loved section or available for resale.
• First Photoshoot: We had our first official e-commerce and editorial photoshoot on September 29. We’re excited to show you the results soon, so keep an eye on our website and social media!
• Full Team: We’ve assembled a full team this month to help us build the platform we’ve been dreaming of. You may have already met two of our new team members on social media: Mirelle, our Chief Consumer Officer, and Sten, our Chief of Media Officer. They play key roles in ensuring that your voice is heard and that our community thrives.

What’s Coming in October

• November Drop: We’re now accepting new pieces for our upcoming November collection! If you have pre-loved designer pieces that deserve a new home, let us know by replying to this email or sending us a DM on social media.
• Designer Interview: We may have secured an interview with one of the first designers on our platform. You might have spotted their pieces in our Instagram reels and stories – stay tuned for more details.
• Tallinn Fashion Week: From October 22 to 25, our team will be attending Tallinn Fashion Week. We’ll be behind the scenes as well as in the front rows, creating content and writing articles for our brand. If you’re attending, come say hi! Otherwise, follow along on our social channels and website for exclusive updates.
